Hi everyone–I’m Kelsey, welcome!!

I began this blog to chronicle my last year living on the gorgeous California central coast. My husband and I moved here about 6 years ago to attend college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and after getting our Bachelor’s, we decided we just couldn’t leave just and headed back to school–him for his master’s and me for my teaching credential. But as the old adage goes, all good things must come to an end, and next summer we will be moving on to our next adventure in a location TBD as my husband pursues his Ph.D. I am doing my best to see this move not as an end but as a exciting new chapter in our lives. It will just be so hard to leave this wonderful place!

My goal for this blog is to share with you what living on the central coast is all about–fresh food (we have a farmer’s market each day of the week somewhere in the county!), great beer and wine, friendly people, and an active lifestyle–through recipes, restaurants, traveling, activities, and so much more.

So thanks for joining me as I try to make the most out of my last year in San Luis Obispo, CA (or SLO as we like to call it–hence the blog name and about a million license plate frames!)

Hopefully, we’ll continue the journey to a new equally fabulous destination next year! :D
