It’s Thursday, I know what I’m doing tonight–Farmer’s!
Thursday Night Farmer’s Market is not just any ol’ farmer’s market, it’s an event! It takes place in downtown SLO from 6-9 all year round and not only has the standard fruit and vegetable stands but also amazing street food, performers, rock climbing, and so much more! And in the summer, it gets crazy down here with wall to wall locals and tourists checking out the action.
While the farmer’s market is truly awesome, I must admit I don’t make it down there every Thursday. It can get a little too crowded for me when I just want to run in and grab my veggies for the week, so I often prefer to go to the much more mellow Saturday morning farmer’s. Still, it’s a great local tradition that’s so much fun to be able to take part in!
Gotta love the old lady playing the washboard!
Biking downtown is the best way to go, if you can–parking can get crazy!
The beets looked sooo good!
Rock climbing anyone??
Look at all the people!
The kettle corn here is to die for!
OMG, cowboy cookies! I’ll take the lot please!
Mclintock’s has amazing bbq–it always has the longest line at farmer’s!
The artichokes looked delicious!
What are you doing tonight?
